Terms of service
Last updated: 13 July 2026
These terms cover your use of tsoro. By using the service you agree to them. We have tried to keep them short and honest rather than padded out with legalese.
Who we are
tsoro is operated by Ashton Berry, a sole proprietor ("we" or "us" in these terms). You can reach us any time at support@tsoro.co.
Using tsoro
tsoro is a browser tool that turns your screen recordings and screenshots into a 3D product demo clip. You upload footage, direct the camera and any on-screen callouts, preview the result, and export a finished video.
The service is in active development. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we do not promise it will be available every minute of every day, and features may change as we improve the product.
Your account
An anonymous account is created for you automatically when you start. You can register it with an email address and password, or with Google or GitHub sign in, at any time.
You are responsible for keeping your sign in details secure, and for anything that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.
Acceptable use
You must own the content you upload, or have the rights needed to use it in this way. Do not upload anything unlawful, anything you do not have rights to, or anything intended to harm or impersonate someone else.
We may suspend or terminate an account that abuses the service, including attempts to circumvent usage limits, security testing without permission, or any unlawful use.
Your content stays yours
We claim no ownership over the recordings, screenshots, or projects you upload, or over the clips you export. You keep your rights to them.
By uploading content, you grant us the license we need to store it, process it, and render it into your clip, and nothing more. You can use your exported clips however you like, including commercially.
Payments and render credit
tsoro has no subscription. You buy render credit (prepaid render time) and each export spends from it, based on the clip's length. A welcome credit covers your first short clip once you verify your email address. See our pricing page for current rates. The exact cost of an export is always shown before you confirm it.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle also collects any VAT or sales tax due at checkout.
Render credit never expires while your account is open. It is not money: it cannot be transferred, exchanged, or paid out, and can only be spent on renders. If a credit purchase is refunded, the render time that purchase added is removed from your balance. If you close your account, any remaining credit is forfeited. If a payment is disputed with your card issuer (a chargeback), we may pause purchases and exports on your account while the dispute is resolved.
Refunds
Our refund rules for render credits and credit purchases are set out in full on our refunds policy. That policy is part of these terms.
Service availability
tsoro is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do our best to keep rendering, storage, and sign in working smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error free service, and we are not liable for losses caused by downtime, maintenance, or factors outside our control.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, tsoro is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to exclude. If you use the service as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Termination
You can stop using the service at any time, and you can delete your content or close your account yourself from your account page. If you prefer, email support@tsoro.co and we will do it for you. We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these terms, particularly abuse of the service or unlawful use.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of England and Wales. If you live in a country whose law gives you mandatory consumer rights or lets you bring a claim in your local courts, you keep those rights, and this section does not take them away.
